In devotion, Neither hands nor feet are needed, Or else the disabled would never be able to.

Nor is it done with the eyes, Or else Surdas ji would never be able to.

Nor is it done by speaking or listening, Or else the dumb and deaf would never be able to.

Nor is it done with wealth or strength, Or else the poor and weak would never be able to.

Devotion is only done with feeling, It is a realization that comes from the heart and into the thoughts.
